I mean, I seem pretty epic at it. I have an 8 win streak with her right now. I'm always getting bullied for it but it turns out nice and I do really good. The plays are amazing. The pulls are so strong. The CD ratio on skills are amazing. So she's not a healer. Still though. I feel pretty awesome with her. My best grade is an S a few times and I'm sitting on mastery 6 doing nothing but support lane @ 50K points.
because it's just awful. Ahri's damage is probably the lowest while being highly mobile, so she NEEDs items to do anything. As support you are basically a charm bot if you play optimally, and it in no way compares to the other forms of CC supports generally get. You're W will do absolutely zero damage post lane unless you ksed every single kill. Your Q is basically a lane pushing device that will leave your ADC vulnerable to bnb jungle rotations. I'd prefer Lux support than this, only a autofilled moron would get outplayed by something of this kind of lane, unless your ADC and jungler have been so on-point you just win anyway. Anything with some sortve buff or cc can work. You can even look at Raigarak play stuff like Ezreal support in challenger and still do well. It's just not optimal
Unreliable mediocre CC, low base damage + high mana costs. As a support, you won't have the income to be effective, and your CC won't be able to save your ADC unless you rank it, in which case your damage is in the floor. Also the system is comparing you to whoever else played Ahri in the bot lane. There isn't much if any competition, so it's gonna be easy to get S ranks with her there. It's how a lot of people go about getting their mastery ranks when they can't do it in their actual role. I hardly believe an Ahri support could do would be "amazing" lol.
Nami has 3 different CC's, a heal, mobility on her passive, and can burst harder than an Ahri support. Not sure why you'd want to play Ahri over her if you like her in the first place, which I'm assuming you do at least a little. Nami is 100000x more effective at support than Ahri will ever be.
Don't care for her as AP sure as hell won't play her as supp and I play dmg supp. Really enjoying brand and annie right now. Used to play Zyra too.
