More Runes and Masteries

With more champions coming out and different builds required for each champion in a specific role. Could there be a chance that we could get or purchase more runes and mastery pages over 20? For example I already use 2 mastery pages for hecrim top/jung. gnar and rumble use 4. Then with mid laners I use one for cho, ori, ahri, base ap/mana (champs I dont have space that go ap mid with mana [ie. brand]), base ap/energy (champs I dont have space that go ap mid with Energy [ie. kennen]). Those alone use 9 pages. Since new champions are coming out 20 rune/mastery pages do not seem enough.

No. There isn't enough variety in either champions or runes to justify that. A player doesn't need that many and you can have 4 rune pages per position and can get away with only one page for some if you can't figure out a way to have only 4.

Runes are a secondary progression system (read "IP Sink" if you'ld like). Why the hell would anyone want to be forced to purchase more anyway?
