Is Ryze still viable after the nerf? Can I still do this?
Obviously not to that extend like Faker, but can I still duel against mid assassins and come out on top?

Slythion1 votesIf you notice, Ryze is very skirmish-orientated as his kit revolves around locking down a single target and dealing continuous damage with spammable abilities. None of these clips showed the champion who was snared actually fighting back (whether it's because cooldowns or simply lack of range) and these cases are rare. In reality, Ryze's kit leaves him as almost a sitting duck while he spams his abilities on his target.
In most cases you wont be able to just walk up and snare someone to death like these clips show, Ryze is a champion you need to really learn to be proficient at. Go ahead an learn him though, I prefer Ryze top myself though :3
