Can we have honoring enemies back?
Sometimes when I play Ezreal or get carried by Zoe I would rather honor the people who put up with that for 20 mins than my teammates...

One time the enemy team stomped us so hard that while I was being pummelled, I started to dance, and they danced back. Then I cancelled my dance while walking, and they followed, and we got a 6-man conga line for about 5 minutes. That's something I wish i could honour, but the removal sorta sucks :(
Or how about if you have friendly banter with someone you have a very even and competitive laning phase against? I would love to give them credit for being an enjoyable opponent.

I'd love to be able to honor opponents. I'd say 50% of my games, my enemy deserves honor more than anyone on my team does.
I personally want to honor more than 1 person in my team and the enemy team too.
It's nice as a community to honor opponents. Getting that kind of recognition at the end of the game not only makes someones day but encourages them to keep playing as they did. There have been several games I wish I could have given them the old "honorable Opponent" but instead have to just say GG so and so. [galio-happy]
That would be pretty dope honestly.... Not everytime does your teammates deserve an honor but I do it anyway for the bonus.... Some games there are some amazing plays or just a friendly character that the enemy deserves the honor instead....
I would like to honor the few top laners that are worse than me giving me the one in a million chance to carry.
Upvoted. Sometimes I'd rather honor someone on the other team rather than anyone on my team and it sucks I can't do that. Please bring this back.
I might be concerned with being able to honor enemies if the honor rewards weren't so damn lame. different ward skin chroma for end of season honor level was the most disappointing reward ever. especially if you were getting the victorious ward or rune collector ward, only way I care about being above honor level 3 is if you got a mystery skin which value increased depending on honor level. the honor capsules don't even seem more frequent or any better past 3
Add a list of enemy players underneath the selection for honors witch check mark boxes. Pick who you want to send a little GG message to before clicking OK. Players might see something like One of your opponents said GG in the chat box.
I think that the honor system should be back, because when your enemy did good or u enjoy the game cuz of him. I kinda miss that option :')

Oftentimes I like my opponents more than my teammates. I want honors for a good fight or a positive attitude. It bums me out not to be able to give them a "thanks for the game" that actually gives them something.

Yes pleeeease. I want to honor the 20/1 vayne that doesn't say GGEZ at the end of the game.
i agree with this but i also want to be able to honor more than 1 person because there were times where the whole team deserved an honor but i can only honor and sometimes one of them may not have gotten honored which would make me feel bad. It's true though that LoL was better back than. I mean they made some great changes and improved a lot but riot took some things out that players wanted or didnt put things in. Im just waiting and wondering when one for all and urf will be one mode with 10 bans. This for a whole different topic but like really, they know that players would go crazy for this so why not create it? Riot really needs to listen to what their fans needs to say because it's our game too and if we all stop playing it, you guys are screwed.
They wont bring it back, it already takes 10 years to lvl up your honor, and if you had the honoring your opponent back, then i'd only take 5 years, but still riot doesn't want it to be that easy because why not.

I'm not quite sure why the option to honor opponents was removed in the first place, and if possible it would be good to hear Riot's opinion on this. From my own experience, not only was this honor option harmless, it built camaraderie among players in a way that could surpass even teammate honors. I felt it encouraged a sportsmanlike attitude to the game that allowed the player to express their respect for those they were playing against, and while the honor update is a significant improvement overall from the previous system, I feel it would be even better if this feature were added back.
I agree! Theres many times I wanted to honor my opponents whether it was because they beat me and were swift and graceful about it (not spamming masterys and laughing obnoxiously), I beat them and they complemented my outplays, and/or theyre just genuinely HUMAN(joking around, actually talking, asking questions in normals to try and get better type players.)

For example, we may honor at most 2 or 3 very honorable people out of the 10 in-game (just like the one we have now), but still be allowed to honor everyone else (whether it's honor is worth less than the 3 previously honored, or just to give their attitude, playmaking, etc. recognition)
