AFK'ers and Disconnects
So now that this /remake option is in effect. And BTW I think that was a really good idea. I like now that teams arent penalized from an early afk/dc, may it be for whatever reason they didnt enter the game or choose to play.
But how about furthering this concept to be throughout the whole game? It's no secret that people still continue to afk quit, or even just a random disconnect for long periods of time that can most likely potentially cause a loss, or prevent a good comeback....Cause you never know whats going to happen later in the game, comebacks are a thing. But I'd love to see an implementation, where the game can detect an afk or disconnected player. Even a player being afk/dc'd for 2-5 minutes can be gamebreaking and toxic. So why not allow /remake be an option where maybe the team with the afk/dc wouldnt be penalized or carry a loss, and maybe still give the opposing team a win. Chances are the team favoring the opposing teams misfortune is gonna win regardless, probably 99% of the time or so, who knows.
I think this could be a positive impact on and for players in the game, purely in general just for game-experience sake, not having to carry a loss at the fault of a unfortunate 5v4 situation. And I believe there should be strict policies and actions regarding the matter...Maybe there already is from being able to report players from being AFK/Quit the game, I dunno exactly how that all works.
Overall I just feel the players being cursed by an AFKer on their team shouldnt be punished with a loss. I remember "Loss Prevented" at some point used to be a feature, again not sure exactly how that worked either and under what circumstances.
Riot please look further into advancing /remake past the 3 minute mark.
P.S. Just wanted to clarify. I decided to post my thoughts on this topic after I had a game with the enemy team having their Rumble going 0/5 vs Yasuo and quitting early in the game. Not because of my team having an afk. Thanks =)
