Come this is retarded it pulled me out of alpha I was just playing with friends lucky for me so it was kinda funny but this crap gets really old in ranked games when it determines a game

It's been bugged for ages, and Riot does not intend to fix it on the basis that they say the happens at an engine level where all untargetability are broken in the same way hence making it impossible to fix or something (and past efforts have all failed so they just gave up now), but at the same time they also make no attempt to swap untargetability with something else despite knowing it's broken without fix.
Champs who have untargetability, spend more time using it, and/or are more required to use it critically to dodge things due to being a high priority target, are most prone to being affected by the bug (Yi ticks all 3 boxes, so his bug is the most noticeable despite all champs who have untargetability are affected by the bug). Kayn encounters the problem pretty frequently in his ulti too, but also no fix.
Just swap untargetability with some forms of modified form of invulnerability or whatever already, or you know, update the engine and fix the bug? Like, do something, man. Come on.
