League Points System Needs Tweaking

I understand awarding everyone the same LP after a ranked match because of this being a team game, but I propose between a 1 and 5 point difference (or something to address the issues) based on performance. If I have the most take downs on the team and one fourth the amount of deaths it seems like I should not be penalized for team members dying so often they are of little use to the team. Two or three out of every five games I play half my team dies fourteen times. The time dead makes your team fight a virtual 4v5 or worse every time. Of the matches like that, I win at best one out of five. I imagine you can see why it would be difficult to get into a better ranked tier if the one you are in relies entirely on being matched with people who know to not screw their team over this way. If someone (like me) has a ratio of seven take downs to every death and the rest their team has three deaths to every four take downs, why should they have to share the same loss to their LP? Once again, I appreciate that this is a team game (though in any rank below gold no one seems to be aware of this) and that we should always work to be a better team player, sometimes there is nothing that can be done to change the facts listed above. The fact that the current system keeps a player like this in ranks with players like that makes me almost regret every second and penny spent on this game.

Not everyone is awarded the same. It's based on your MMR vs your rank.
