The big pile of free MMR you get for being new, in the expectation you will either waste it horribly or actually climb faster if smurfing.

hmm your smurfs had a fresh mmr. and you climb faster being a smurf therefore you have a higher mmr.

when on your main all that crap you did learning the game trying to climb tanked the over all mmr.
