Bronze
Its a common theme amongst bronze players to overextend and chase kills. Its really cool cause then they do that and blame the team. If everyone in bronze could just stop doing that dumbass shit that would be great

Meanwhile in gold 5, Im not joking this Lee Sin clip actually an accurate depiction of low Gold, we dive even harder than Bronze even when the odds are against us. Not trying to name and shame but Kshaway's video. the Lee Sin is actually gold 4.

That video was amazing, thank you for putting a smile in my day lmao. my favorite parts were taliyah failing to kill the gromp and sion and lee chasing and getting killed by oriana. the double penta was also pretty hilarious.
poke
The episode after that has a double double penta!
someone somewhere said once that some of the best players are actually stuck in bronze.
Yer every game people dont no that its more on objective then kills, yet every game I get kids just want to chase and then flame
I don't think you can expect common sense in bronze other then the poor souls stuck in elo hell.
For real though, bronze is the closest thing to a starting point some players are in the ranked system and it will take time for them to learn not to overextend or face check brushes. Experience comes with time and they'll only learn by getting caught out and dying and not blaming their team mates for their mistakes.
the poor souls stuck in elo hell.
you mean the bronze players that can't admit they're where they belong?
Shhh let them dream of clawing their way out <3

Should have learned these things by the time they get to ranked. If you get the avg ip and don't use boosts, it takes over 300 games to get to ranked. If you haven't learned not to chase, dive, overextend, facecheck, etc by then, please find another game.
Agreed, but some players spent those games having fun rather then playing to win, it's usually these players who would rather chase a slippery low health leblanc across the map then push the mid tower and get an objective. It's sad but you know these league players exist and when they get the chance to ranked they just jump into it thinking they're extraordinary.
Never boosted and I didn't learn what overextending even was
Silver 5 is terrible. I got my promos to silver 4 single handedly ruined last night because of an Ahri who ran around in the base doing nothing just to sabotage the game. After that game I haven't logged on and I probably got a chat restriction because I flamed the ahri like I never flamed before.

I deranked from Silver 5 dead ass Feels bad
Solid advice here
silver5/4 is probably the worst division I had to play in by far.
I found bronze to be more appealing.
Couldn't agree more. I've also noticed a decline in solid team comps. Definitely more people with that stupid carry mentality who make poor decisions

ever since I joined and first started playing ranked, I've had better teammates in Bronze than in Silver. The Silver 5 division is about 60% trolls, 20% int feeders / ragers, and 20% kids that are so fucking bad it's a miracle they even got there in the first place. what I'm really scared of is eventually getting to Silver again because V and IV are even WORSE than Bronze.
Also, I see my teammates chasing all over the damn map for kills when there's (for example) a
or a
getting towers for free or even in our base getting Inhibitors for free. I don't understand the logic... "I REALLY need to kill this guy, even though we're gonna lose in the next 5 minutes if I don't get back to base and defend."
lol
if you think that it stops after bronze you're gonna be disappointed my plat friend still does it ._.
Many players in Bronze don't do that. ffs, stop making up shit if you actually haven't experienced what Bronze really is. Even if you did see it, it probably doesn't depict what the majority of bronze players do. Let's be honest, Bronze doesn't chase hard, they take dumb fking trades and don't understand which champions are superior in each stage of the game.

Im in bronze dimbus
I was also in bronze smartass, and I've probably played more games in it than you have.
This thread is awkward ...
I'm just annoyed with all the stereotypes associated with bronze players. They are actually okay mechanically, but they just don't have enough experience.
thats exactly the point, Ok mechanically, bad decision making wise. Over extending is something every low elo player is guilty off (including me).
That is not what I mean. What I meant by experience was that they didn't know how champions are like, not that they chase too hard. Even if you overextend, it's probably once in a while, and it doesn't represent what your actual decision-making is like.
... Or they know what they want to do but painfully suck mechanically, like me :p

I'm okay admitting that I'm in Bronze because I can't CS that well. I have minor carpal tunnel from a typing heavy job, and I can't always click on things fast enough and have bad CS until I have a wave-clear damage skill. By this time usually everyone has grouped mid for massive death team-fights. After they clear all my minions in mid if I try to go another lane for CS I'm pinged away from it from the original laner.
Wish I could get better at CS as I know it's important. Right now I have to rely on level 6 roams to keep up in gold.
Its super hard to herd people in bronze so I don't bother much with ranked anymore. Like when 4 are dead on enemy team and I ping Baron...40 second death timers on 4 people. What does the team do? Chases the 5th person all over the map, doesn't get the 5th kill, and then they all die as they are at the enemy base when they all respawn with full HP.
facepalm
Its not just bronze. I love playing in norms on my alt account and seeing plat/gold players not just chasing but going headfirst as a squishy into a teamfight in the jg with no vision on which bush the enemy is in.
I mean, its fine to chase if you have knowledge of where the enemy team is and if they can assist their teammate in time. Its the reason why you see so much chasing in high elo without them being punished for it, its not so much "dont chase" as "knowing how long you can chase".
But yea, in bronze people probably dont check their map before chasing
I don't fully understand why people just don't lock into their minds the fundamentals that makes one player better than the other. Like, stop learning how to dive so hard, and focus on last hitting, improve the speed of your jungle routes. Work on your skillshots, and attack-move-click accuracy. Ward. Do research on where to ward, when, and why. Play objectively, not subjectively. Don't play on autopilot. Learn how to manipulate waves and how red minions behave versus blue behavior. They are different in their target acquisition. Stop diving, stop dying for kills, stop chasing, and stop dying because you're greedy. Be greedy for not missing cs. You'll get more gold that way.
Ho yeah, you need to snowball your lane and win as fast as you can, because past 30 minutes there's no guarantee you will win even if you are 10/0 the game only become a huge coinflip in bronze/silver.
The worst overextension I've seen so was actually a plat. Me and my plat ADC caught out the enemy tank support in river. He chased that support. My ADC died under mid inner turret at 1:30.
I've not seen THAT bad in bronze, but it is true that bronzes overextend A LOT. The bloodthirst IS a thing, but so's the lack of map awareness (which can only be habitualised through practice)
Honestly I think my teammates from bronze 4 and 5 were lesser apes than bronze 3. THE CHASING IS AWFUL
