Laning midlane

Im an ADC main but lately had a run of bad luck with my own gameplay and support combos, so I think I'd like to switch to midlane.

Wanna switch mid because it's still a carry lane, I don't have to rely on a laning partner (unless you include the jg) and I've already dabbled in midlane with champions such as Karma, Cass, Taliyah, TF, & Ryze. I typically prefer a champion that can push the wave and roam (I dont own A. Sol yet T.T), but this is not a need.

Since this lane is new to me, what are some quick tips for playing against:

1. Assassins in general
2. Lane controllers (ziggs, anivia, donger, etc.)
3. The enemy jungler, since I will now have twice as many routes to be ganked from
