Team 5s Queue

In the initial season 6 info, Dynamic queue was supposed to be separate from Team 5s. Dynamic queue was a loose group of friends you could party up with and queue together, without any long-term commitment. Team 5s was the grind for teams to earn their way up to challenger, let low solo queue players try to teamwork their way into better elo, or just, in short, be THE place for serious 5 v 5 play. Unfortunately, especially at higher elo, starting a new ranked 5s team is way harder than it should be. Ranked 5s queue was separate from solo queue, because it's a very different game. When you have a team comprised of high solo elo players, you still start lowish on the boards of 5s. You could practice as a team and develop skills that you don't normally use in solo queue like communication and leadership, without risking solo queue progress. You are instead graded on a separate scale as a team unit, rather than each player having their solo rank at risk every game.

 Unfortunately, since Dynamic Queue is the broad umbrella that covers everything, if a team of diamonds groups up together for the first time, you go up against other teams of diamonds that probably have way more experience than you as a team. You don't get any practice games, no time to develop team synergy or run tryouts. You are immediately pitted up against better teams with much more practice. Someone new to chess probably won't learn by being pit up against a grand master, they'll try to mimic the motions but they won't learn why they are losing consistently until they can grasp the basics. You learn by playing vs people slightly better than you are, you don't learn from being stepped on. It's extremely difficult to start new teams now because of this discrepancy. You have to hand-pick scrimmage teams around your level (hopefully) to play customs in, and play in no-risk tournaments. I'd like a practice queue for teams where it's serious but doesn't put my solo queue time and record on the line. Normal drafts doesn't cut it, since most of the time the other team doesn't care enough or is super low elo (due to MMR being different from ranked to normals).

TLDR give us separate ranked 5s queue back.
