Overall: His Q damage Same base damage Ad scaling lowered from 165% bonus Ad to 100% bonus AD Cooldown : From 4 seconds to 10 seconds(5 when tapped)

W: Less base damage, only does better damage when empowered

E: Worse scaling and Worse base damamge on higher levels, not to mention huge cooldown nerf the CD wa smore than doubled

Only his Ultimate has better damage... and is slower to cast than the old ultimate and doesn't slow, AND has a much bigger CD. What he has gained are the empowered W which I don't think makes up for the damage nerfs, and the shield protection.

Pantheon is both worse early game and scales worse, and the numbers are not lying

People are confusing "Talon levels of damage" with "items that deal Talon level damage"

Talon with the items, deals more and scales better overall. Pantheon with the items, can also assassinate, but it's not comparable to the thresholds and speeds Talon can do so, especially with the cooldowns Talon has to repeat it.

Pantheon seems competitively adaptable as a bruiser if they gave his E a %hp per tick on it, or as an assassin if they made the Q scale a little harder when the enemy is below 20% hp rather than a small increase on below 25%. Either can push him towards a playstyle. Not that he's bad now of course, the kit and numbers are still serviceable.

As is though, I think they're being cautious due to the impact Pantheon now has with an Ultimate that actually can hit people cross map rather than be a 300 sack of gold that falls from the sky.

Give him a week or two... geez. At least he has the ability to go in late game and not die instantly due to his new E. So he might perform better overall.

it's so hopeless talking about new champions on this board, everyone either thinks they're totally overtuned or need their numbers boosted by 50 across the board. panth is balanced right now, get good at him ffs he interacts so very differently with champions than he did before. no you can't just braindead zone people with your point and click Q anymore actually have a think about how you're gonna use the kit to win the game. hate this community the game is lovely though, gj rito

Spoken like a true Pantheon main. We have more survivability? We don't fall off as hard in the late game? We literally don't turn the game into a 4v6 if it goes on long enough? Hmm.... Well we have less damage against top lane opponents (tanks and bruisers, or ranged lane bullies like kennen and gnar) for the most part, so it's not important that, overall, we're now a much better champion.

They didn't even reduce the damage by that fucking much either. You're just whining because now you have to use your brain more than you did (you could be a literal vegetable with no brain activity what-so-fucking-ever and play pre-rework panth right, now you just have to be an old man in a hospice home recovering from "the bad stroke"). You don't seem to understand that his damage numbers are still high enough that if you go mid and build assassin, you pm for free crowd out every mage in the game. He's literally got the damage numbers and roam potential of a Talon and you're, what, whining because he doesn't bully tanks out of lane anymore? Good! He shouldn't bully tanks out of lane, especially not without really taking any damage himself. You just have to use your brain the tiniest amount more than you did on the old panth.
