Turret damage to minions

I don't know which change caused it, be it the turret changes or the minion armor/health changes, but something has messed with the balance that is last hitting minions under tower, at least for melee minions.

Normally a melee minion is supposed to take two hits and leave enough health for an easy last hit

But lately I've noticed that the health left over is so tiny that should one of your minions decide to give it a whack, you will not be able to get that last hit. You can't do the same technique for caster minions (attack, turret hit, last hit) on melee minions because they have too much health (you'd need to somehow get another attack in there).

Or maybe it was like that the whole time and I never noticed.
