Lane opponent suddenly comes back

Hey all,

So I'm looking for advice/opinions here.

I feel like I am pretty decent at keeping my lane opponent (typically adc) from getting kills early to mid. However, when teamfights start up, the next thing I know they are 10/2. How are they able to come back so quickly? What can I do to have that power spike?

Some ADCs just do that. They are hypercarries with weak early games, but they don't need to win lane to scale. If you go roughly even with them, they come out stronger than you.

If you're good at winning lane, then ADCs that can snowball off that advantage (Lucian, Draven, Jhin) would be good options for you.
