Can Riot please don't make promo insta-loss for dodging?

Dodging loses you 3LP each time or a LOSS in your promo.

I honestly think this is unreasonable. Riot should make dodging during promo only increase queue time. This is not abusable. I doubt a lot of people would dodge constantly. Even if they do, they have to be in promo to abuse it. In best case we need 4 straight wins to reach promo. I believe this will not cause queue time rises significantly for others.

Promo is already a stressful system. Can Riot at least let players dodge when they have a bad feeling in champion selection, especially they know it is going to cost them HUGE? (like a obvious troll?)

Honestly, I think they should give you 1 free dodge per promo and give you a warning that it's gone.

"My internet was fine but i'm noticing some delay all of a sudden I should probably dodge so I don't lose/hold back 4 other people and get reported"

"My team is all swearing at each other and one is planning to intentionally feed I should probably dodge"

There are those reasonable scenarios where you NEED to dodge which can really screw over a good player trying to climb.

Something like: Warning, you have recently left a game during champion select. If this happens again it will count as a lose toward your promotional series"

It should only be one warning per promo and should reset completely once won or lost

Those are completely your problems. Riot does not want dodges period. Their is a reason you have to close your client to cause a dodger to happen. We the players are not supposed to be dodging period.

Also if your connection is so unstable you should get your ISP to work on your line.

This would be a bad idea because dodging promos is also a good strategy. To explain, say in your best of 3 promos you lose your FIRST match. your LP would go down a "hidden number" as well as your MMR but will only be reflected as an X in you best of 3. That's why when you lose 2 out of 3 your reset MMR is usually 60-70 LP. The strategy is if you lose your first promo games you just dodge your next one and reset the whole thing all over. The benefit? You may have "lost" 2 out of 3 but in essence you just lost once and when the reset happens its usually 80-90 LP because your MMR didnt go down and you didnt lose that match LP and it only typically requires you to win one game to get back into a new set of promos.

I feel for you that promo games with trolls are a drag but that's part of the game and remember even pro's have to deal with this kind of thing all the time too. Just man it out and play your best cut your losses and just try again if you dont succeed.

Didn't get "your" lane/champ? Dodge. Didn't like your captain's bans? Dodge. Other team got an "OP" champ? Dodge. Your team comp wasn't perfect? Dodge. Other team picked something that countered "your" champ? Dodge.

Don't blame the system as much as you should BLAME the players..

The promo system is seriously flawed. BUT RIOT just wants you to continue to play more and more.... The more you play the more you experience OP champs or see new skins. the more you will buy....

THAT is the only reason.... Create a system that isn't based on CASH and you'll have the system that ANY common sense person would enjoy
