Then you finally decide it must have crashed, quit, and try to rejoin the game - only for the game to repeatedly crash for several retries because it doesn't know how to tell you "this game is still loading for the other players, try again later."

I waited about 5 minutes and decided it had server problems today. Came back to Aram game and I am 4 levels behind after having to exit and get back in. Usually I just assume its just taking forever to load and not that it crashed out. Like everyone always says, we need a loading icon.

Basically, you have to wait once everyone is 100% as long as it took for the last portrait to fill in. So, if a portrait was blank for 5 minutes, you will be waiting 5 minutes post 100% for the game to load. Just a little something I have observed.

I usually go with a left click on the mouse or Alt-F4 to tell me if I've crashed. If I've crashed, a pop-up window telling me I've crashed always shows up.

Im always amazed at how this game takes like 3-4x as long to load as Dota 2 and runs at roughly the same fps. I honestly thought one of the benefits of LoL was the lower requirements (or at least it was during season 1/Dota 2 beta) but while one is improving it's performance the other is losing it.

I hate when that happens, the client crashed like that on me several times during 5.7 and 5.8.

Worst scenario is if you're like me, I turn up the sound and do something else, when I here "Summoners Rift" I know the game has loaded. But if it crashed, I get suspicious after a while, then refresh, and enemy already has first blood :/ Fortunately I play late game champs anyway and just play safe until I outscale my opponent and thrash them anyway

I had a game yesterday do this to me, every one was 100% loaded but my screen crashed. What gets me is the fact that no one on my team was understanding about this and only rediculed me for "having a shitty computer" when infact it's new and the game itself was faulty.

I miss ping on the loading screen. I remember when people would youtube video just to mess with people.
