Nocturne vs Warwick

These two champions have very similar roles, except that Warwick does everything way better.

Warwick has by far the better sustain, faster jungle clear, especially with Tiamat, his blood scent is global compared to Noct's ult which has a very short range, blood scent has no cooldown on the movement speed boost making him way better at ganks compared to Noct's ult which has a super long cooldown. Suppression is way better for team fights. Both champions have a delayed fear, although Warwick's can hit all enemies.

I don't see any reason to take Noct when Warwick can do everything he can do only better.

No they don't.

except that Warwick does everything way better.

Warwick will never assassinate as well as a Nocturne. Warwick is just the better duelist.

Warwick has by far the better sustain

thats his kit

faster jungle clear

Nope

especially with Tiamat

WW has to build Tiamat because he lacks the AoE that Nocturne gets for free, which is why Noct clear is much faster

his blood scent is global

Only the passive portion, which WW has no control over. The active actually has a fairly small radius.

Noct's ult which has a very short range

Because it globally denies vision to the entire enemy team, it has a lot more potential for mind games.

blood scent has no cooldown on the movement speed boost making him way better at ganks compared to Noct's ult which has a super long cooldown

It has a massive cooldown that only decreases faster when out of combat. Meaning you get punished for being in combat (farming, scuttle, or ganking) when it is on cooldown. The passive is great but completely reliant on your laners to proc it. The movement speed boost can also be cancelled simply by putting WW in combat. Even pre 6 Noct has a more reliable movespeed boost with his trail, a similar fear, and more dmg to offer for a gank via his AD and atk speed steroids.

Suppression is way better for team fights

Until they build item 3140. Reminder that Warwick CC's himself in exchange for CCing an enemy for 1.5 seconds. Nocturne vision denial last much longer while having access to a spell shield.

Both champions have a delayed fear, although Warwick's can hit all enemies.

Warwick has the superior CC (and dmg mitigation) because he is designed to be a diving bruiser. He is supposed to survive the damage to CC rather than be the priary damage, unlike Nocturne who is expected to 100-0 his target solo which is why his kit offers all those free dmg steroids.

I don't see any reason to take Noct when Warwick can do everything he can do only better.

Warwick doesn't do everything better. They fill very different roles, even as a player who plays mostly full AD Warwick; Nocturne is an assassin and Warwick is a fighter. Warwick is safer than Nocturne in that he has more tools to survive a fight, but Nocturne has more potential to kill the high priority target that will simply item 3140 and kite Warwick to death.

You don't even know best doggo to be commenting about his kit. If you want to compare Nocturne to a better Jungler I'd argue Evelynn Khazix over Warwick.

Err. Nocturne is a pick assassin and Warwick is a sustained damage drain tank bruiser that does better in farming metas than this one, hence why Nocturne is really good right now and Warwick is pretty bad.

Also a big reason of why Nocturne's ult is great is that in addition to providing utility via vision denial, it's point-click and nearly instant. Warwick has to walk up to you.
