A lot of the overpowered champions, for example, 
, and so on and so forth, all come with the excuse that they are not overpowered because all you have to do is just CC them and they become so easy to kill.
So then why do they put bull shit like this in the game to make specifically sure that you can't do that? 
Irelia never had the excuse that you can "just CC her", tho.
Unlike Master Yis meditate, her W grants her damage reduction even if she gets CCed by the enemy. If played right, she was absoolutely terrifying. At least they now made it that it doesn't reduce magic damage anymore....

i never seen someone says just CC zed, i have seen some say just buy a stop watch which perfectly work against zed jax/yi jump at your face making it easy to CC/combo them imo (i was feeding my ass as ahri the other day but later on all what i did is charming jax after he jump on someone and pretty much won that way)
the only one of these I've heard that argument used for is yasuo lmao
because its an ad item so when you do kill them.
JAx is honesly tankier than alot of tanks.
