Cant Carry

I rely on carry campions since they are so good at it like yasuo and zed. Cant carry noobs if I cant get my role. I would get Rek Sai and vayne because both are OP but dont have enough IP(vaynes mechanics are deadly wish I could learn her). Guess im stuck until I get more carry champs.

I've carried plenty of games as champs like Nautilus and Zac, if you're good enough to consider yourself above your teammates then you must be able to play all the roles effectively. If you don't get one of your champs and you feed or don't perform well it's not your teams fault for not caving in to your demands and giving you your champs/positions, it's your fault for not being good enough in that role with that champion.

If you carried its because your team knows what their doing. Im in bronze where players dont even know you can grab threshes lantern. The only possible way is to carry and to win your lane. Pref carry champs because you cant really carry effectively with certain champs(karthus,TF,Mordakaiser, etc...) And I would say I play all the roles effectively with jg my main. I very rarely feed(last time I would say I did bad was like maybe a month ago) And there are carry champions like vayne instead of miss fortune. Because vayne is very good at kiting she relies less on the rest of the team to protect her and more on her self( You rely on your teams in bronze). While Miss Fortune is very limited on out plays because of lack of kiting and her reliance of her team protecting her while she does damage. So basically you need to rely on yourself and have champions who do the same because we all get crappy players sometimes especially in bronze.

Well first off Karthus, TF, and Morde are all great for solo carrying, TF just got rated number 1 best solo Q carry by a few youtubers who happen to be diamond players as well. Karthus just relies heavily on making it to late game and Morde pushes too hard and you WILL get camped, so they do have downsides but they can still hard carry if played to their strengths.

Secondly Vayne still needs a lot of protection, cannot tell you how many times I've watched a Vayne on either team leading the charge into an area we KNOW the enemy is at thinking she'd be perfectly fine cause she's Vayne. If you want a more reliable ADC play Graves, Corki, or Lucian, their mobility allows them to reposition very easily and they all have ridiculous mid games.

Finally you rely on your team for peels while playing a carry in every single elo, more so in higher elos honestly cause players actually know how to focus properly the higher they get.

I will grant there are more new players in bronze then their should be, JUST hit 30, does placements, feeds and gets put in bronze. If you get one of those you're at a huge disadvantage with them, no one can deny that. However even with bad teammates as long as you know what you're doing and can carry through the early game you should be able to direct them to a victory using your early lead. Just ward a ton and CONSTANTLY ping your teammates on what they should be doing. Although don't spam pings, that's annoying and people start to ignore you when you do that, just make sure to always be notifying your teams of threats, targets, and objectives.

Even bad and new players listen to pings most the time, that specific advice right there got 3 of my friends out of bronze last season, so I know it works. Good luck.

The only reason i say Tf and Karthus is because they are really squishy targets and dont have that good of cc in team fights. Of course In higher elos these champs can be played effectively but not in bronze. And if Vayne isn't thirsty and waits for her team she can very well kite and make outplays. Graves,Corki, and lucian do have good mobility but outplays are difficult because of the mechanics(especially with most Bronze supps). Yes I do believe I get paired with noobs and try to carry but thats why I need champions with mechanics more then anything.

Since I mostly rely on myself and have champions for that I try to carry. But honestly if a lane feeds bad(especially bot) and top isn't winning either theres no coming back. Feed lanes from top and mid could be recoverable if someone on your team is fed to. Honestly I plan on getting more carry champions because yasuo is a good champ but not for everyone. Like when there was a Cho mid I could beat him but he would get pushed to his lane then regen off his passive and I couldn't get to close because there was a Irelia jg and the wombo combo would be to devastating. Bot ended up feeding and I couldn't a good kill since the team stuck together mostly. And pinging teammates works for half a second then they forget about it and make stupid mistakes(or at least In my league).

I really dont see me getting out of this elo hell until I get more carry champs honestly

I can carry easily out of bronze with tf and karthus. I'm pretty sure I could do it with ap vayne. Its you bro, and not your team.

Yeah try doing it while your team feeds. Im positive in most of my ranked games but bronze players make bad mistakes( If I make a mistake its not game threatening or at least it happens once). Its 5% my fault and 95% theirs most of the time Bud.

I've done it before countless times, its so easy if you don't belong in bronze.

Having cc in teamfights is one of the LAST things you want to be considering when looking at champs. The both of them have ridiculous carry potential cause how easy it is to farm (which is in fact more important then kills) and their insane global pressure potential. Neither of them are simple champs to play of course, so you can't just grab them and start carrying, but saying they CAN'T carry is ignorant.

And every champ in the game can make outplays, that's part of the games overall mechanics, and Vayne is no special case in this regard. Yes her late game is stronger then the three ADCs I mentioned and she's nearly unparalleled at killing tanks late game as well, but all three are better at farming, pushing, dueling, teamfighting, and everything else in the early and mid games, plus all three have more mobility so therefore by basic logic have a BETTER chance of outplays then Vayne does. Plus what happens if your Vayne is banned or locked by the enemy team and you say you can't carry with MF "cause of your team," then what? At least learn these other three, they're all easy to play and in this current meta FAR stronger then Vayne is.

Finally again, every single champ in this game can carry the game EVEN IN BRONZE! I raised two of my friends accounts into silver last season (they're bronze again this season but that's their own faults lol) and I did it with Rengar, Aatrox, Graves, GALIO, and NAUTILUS. I just perform well on all those champs even though 3 of them are considered below average and weak in this meta, you know how? Bronze players are bad, ganking them is easy, pushing objectives is easy, and winning lane is easy. Like I said before, ward and ping, and as long as you know your champ you can carry.

EVEN. IN. BRONZE! You're not talking to people who have never been there ya know, almost all of us commenting on this thread have been in and through bronze, WE KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE! lol Just remember, ward and ping, has helped many people escape bronze.

P.S. There is no such thing as elo hell.

H0riz0n2341 votes

First They can carry but In higher elos. finding a TF or Karthus that can carry in bronze is one in a million(If its a smurf). Second what are you going to do if your team doesn't protect the adc? If you cant farm efficiently as an adc dont adc, Cant push if their team is fed and pushed to your towers, cant duel because because their team is fed, And cant teamfight is the adc isn't protected. In Bot lane wise your only as good as your support. And obviously if you cant play vayne pick the next big thing and yes I play other adc's because that would be stupid if I didn't. And to argue your third paragraph no they can not. Show me a soraka 1v1 a yasuo and soraka win. And If you won Im guessing your players didn't feed. If in the game if your losing by a little carrying is very possible,If your losing by alot and one of your lanes is feeding carrying is very difficult. Since you already know they aren't good how do you expect them to do well in team fights. Unless you can pretty much 1v3 or 1v5 which is almost impossible you are relying on your team.

And just because you can win a lane doesn't mean your team can and as they make more and more mistakes winning is harder and harder. and once laneing phase is over its on to team fights and fighting a fed with the rest of their team. I do ward and ping but players with no map awareness wont even see it. And elo hell is real but not a an extent of impossible to get out. You just have to be a skill of silver 3 to get out of B2( So very skilled). Ranks seem kinda bot useful if your never playing with your rank that your skill level is at. And I have a theory since league grows everyday, in the seasons before there were less trolls and bad players making it more easy to climb

Honestly I think it's rarer to find TF and Karthus mains in bronze cause anyone good enough to play them effectively has easily "escaped" from bronze, no joke, they're just THAT good of solo carries.

As for protecting the adc, it's unnecessary in bronze usually. Just as you say bronze players can't protect an adc the same on the other side is that bronze players don't know how to properly focus targets, so if you're positioning well in bronze then you don't need your team to save you, you should be able to do that on your own if you really are better then everyone else. Just a fact.

Also 1v1ing isn't the end all be all of carries ya know. Soraka has ridiculous amounts of healing capabilities and you can single handedly win teamfights for your team if you know how to position and who exactly to heal when you have to. Obviously she can't carry as hard as say a Zed or something, but once again saying she cannot carry anything at all is just plain ignorance.

And if you still think in the "laning -> teamfighting -> seiging -> profit" mentality then sorry to say but that's probably why you're still in bronze. If you do well in lane apply pressure around the map with your lead, even if bot lane is feeding if you're a fed mid laner you should be able to sway that lane single handedly if you are good enough to truly carry and turn that lost lane into at least an even one. If you're behind and it's now what you call the "teamfighting phase" then obviously DON'T TEAMFIGHT! lol If they're stronger then you wave clear and disengage or split push while, once again, WARDING AND PINGING!

Unless you have a stupid wombo combo team comp and the enemy team is all single target and squishy or something, that's always an extremely easy way to win bronze, just everyone hit R and you win every team fight lol

For an example, say you play Nasus top, stack well and win lane because you're better then the bronzies you play with and don't deserve bronze like you claim, but EVERYONE else on your team is losing pretty hardcore, then the enemy team starts to group for teamfights. What do you do here? I imagine you usually try to help your team out and fight with them, hoping to bring your success in lane to the front and carry that fight, right? Well you'd lose that fight and everyone after that, the enemy team is stronger then you SO DON'T FIGHT THEM! Ping your team to back off while you splitpush like a monster with your Q stacks and those wards you obviously have since you don't deserve bronze. If your team is blind and they don't back off or get caught out since it's bronze the enemy team 9 times out of 10 won't push the right objectives if they push at all, so you can reply with more objectives of your own. I cannot tell you how many games last season I won as top lane Nasus by 100% splitpushing with ward coverage while my team fed and fed and fed and raged at me for not grouping. If you know what you're doing and how to play your champ you can carry almost any match... almost.

Oh yeah, and that theory of yours is wrong, bronze has always been bronze, adding more sht to a pile of sht doesn't make it any stinkier, it's still a pile of sht and smells just as bad as it always had. Also through first hand experience of working through bronze myself in season 3 then carrying 2 of my friends accounts out of it in the preseason of season 5 I can 100% guarantee it's still pretty much exactly the same thing, just on a new map.

Hello sorry for the late reply I was off league for a while ok so lets discuss. Yes bronze players focus are not good but most of the time with my teammates I feel I get the short end of the stick. Your definition of carry is different from mine. Mine is being able to 1v1 and almost instakill the entire team. If Soraka is supporting well I call her a very good support but not carrying. I would leave lane but the risk is to high from a lane I can get fed from and to bottom lane where theres a possibility if I go in my bot lane wont. If they have a good supp I can be killed and theres a death. If a lane lost they lost for a reason and thats because they weren't skilled enough(except bot because if one person is skilled and the other isn't then your relying that their bot isn't any better. Of course I will try to roam a bit but I still have a lane to hold and some jg never hold a lane while the laner is somewhere else.

And once again warding and pinging only works if your teammates see it. Not every bronze player has map awareness and can see wards and pings. you hope they are the type of bronze players that see this stuff. Also most bronze players dont understand team comp and how it changes the game(Like I said the short end of the stick). Bronze players are blind and will usually teamfight which is their idiotic mistake. And if their whole team comes at you then I really dont think you can win a 1v5. And if your team dies while your split-pushing I dont think you can out push 5 people and forced to recall. And BTW your metaphor doesn't apply to the situation. A better one is like trying to climb out of a hole that keeps getting deeper. And like I said I was a theory and not a fact. But thats why I need better champions to carry my teammates as stated for this discussion.

You get upset if you don't snowball after 5 minutes lose your patience if you don't win after 20 minutes. How many times do you hit the surrender button a day on average?

H0riz0n2341 votes

I dont and because I play until the end unless its like a really bad game(Like 6 kills against 30). I dont get mad if I cant snowball I get frustrated when players cant play their champs and their roles. Keep assuming bud

arcinex1 votes

Vayne gets shrecked by any competent adc/supp duo because of her reliance on auto attacks and peel.

H0riz0n2341 votes

In lane it can be difficult but as long as you dont feed, a good vayne player relies on late game with her kites.thats why she has her condem so she can auto while the other enemy is stunned.

You just said Rek'Sai and Yasuo are OP........

H0riz0n2341 votes

How are they not yasuos ult is OP since you get 50% armor penn after and do massive damage with the ult anyway(Target the squishy ones and you can do good). And Rek Sais ganks are on point even foxdrop whos is a diamond player thinks Rek Sai is a good jungler.

okay lets see.. you say "players cant play their champs and their roles" but u also said the only roles u do are carry based roles, so you're not patient enough to be a tank(nautilus) who does 0 damage. You have to start learning roles because you won't always get what you want and sometimes your team might need a tanky jungler not a snowbally one. "I cant carry" pffft only idiots say that im in bronze 5 and have never once said "too heavy to carry" or "stuck in elo hell" yeah my teams make dumb decisions and we've thrown games alot i lost 5 series in a row and am still in bronze 5 but i never say "my teams suck" "i should be silver" thats what a REAL noob says.

H0riz0n2341 votes

Yes I do know tanky champs Im not dumb but if a player doesnt focus the adc during a team fight you cant do much since you do 0 damage. I always look at a teams comp when In a game and make champion decisions based on it. I pick yasuo sometimes like first honestly but its bronze and having someone counter me in like a 10% chance. So its either get yasuo and maybe get countered but dont feed and get kills late game(since if his ult is on the whole team its op and also I rarely feed). I can also get fed because they dont know how to counter and I carry. So that are my decisions but am limited because I dont own all the champions and counter everyone well.

nomeL1 votes

That is so wrong, in bronze the first thing you should expect as first/second pick is to GET countered. People don't realize that playing a champ that completely counters your enemy laner is worse than playing a champ your good at that doesnt counter them.

H0riz0n2341 votes

Well I usually win lane with yasuo even without the matter of pick order.
