Ahri vs Yasuo, A bug thats apparently not a bug

Apparently, the below is not a bug, but it is something nonsensical and glitchy nonetheless

I find Ahri has a pretty annoying bug when it comes to Yasuo's WW. From my understanding, if you Orb and Yasuo WW's AFTER he has taken the first damage of Orb, as it is a returning skill that is damaging him from behind the second time, it should deal the true damage to him. Not just disappear into the WW and do nothing as it is passing him on its way back. Champions should be true to their timing, and shouldn't just magically guard something coming from behind them, go through enemy, not damage, and then disappear into their skill. Or was he made like this intentionally? He is also very glitchy when it comes to other teammates knocking people up. I have landed on the ground then gotten ulted many times from a Yasuo who wasn't near enough to his team, but then capitalizes on an ulti he is responding late to. I've seen full teams get knocked up by a Nami, land on the ground, then get ulted by Yasuo without his own whirlwind knocking them up. Please fix his timing as it seems absolutely broken at this moment.

I'm a bit confused, is the problem that the orb is not doing a second instance of damage on the returning shot?

Yes. Order is as follows:

a) Orb b) Hits Yasuo (orb is behind him now) c) Windwall d) Secondary shot blocked by windwall despite windwall being placed in front of Yasuo.

Is there a video of this?

Wind Wall blocks enemy projectiles both ways (unlike Braum's shield). If he's standing right on top of the wall it might "destroy" the orb before it can damage him. It would depend on the exact timing and positioning.

This is most likely due to lag making it seem like the ability activation was too late. The server makes the call on whether the ability is allowed to go off, but it might not show up on your screen until a few hundred milliseconds later, when they "oh by the way, Yasuo just ulted you" message arrives. Whereas the animation for the knockup was already queued and played at the "correct" time from your perspective.

There's a reason people ban Yasuo in most games, because he's given a ridiculous amount of grace time on his windwall and ultimate. Seriously, there have been times I've played Ahri and throw a charm at him, but he deletes it right as it's on top of his face with his windwall. I don't understand it, and it's aggravating, because it rewards someone for late reaction time.

If he casts before it hits him, why shouldn't he block it? If he reacts before it hit him, is it really late?

Yasuo's ult gives him a bit of grace period on activation so that players with high ping can still use it effectively. Removing it might cause more harm than good.

I don't think so it would cause more harm it would require proper timing. Release Darius used to have a grace period for his ult reset where even if his ult didnt kill but the target died within a certain time frame he would still get the reset. It was removed because it was found unnecessary and unfair. If Yasuo can't press r on a target that can't move within his giant range for his ult that indicates where a knocked up target is he shouldn't be playing Yasuo at all let alone get his ult off.
