We didn't have urf on april fools last year.

They never said it was coming and it hasn't come during april fools since 2015. It's not on that schedule anymore.

They shouldn't have to. He has been an April fools mascot since his conception, and a game for long enough to expect an appearance of URF on URF day.

It hasn't though. It was originally a joke that they had for one year. Then they brought it back for one more year. Then they didn't. Now we are here.

It's not URF day anymore. It is just a day in the week where you may or may not have a random game mode. Whether it's Ascension, URF, OfA, totally not dominion or even if its during the week with no random game mode, it's how it is. We can't control it.

One year? URF the manatee was released as a champion, WAY back. and skins every year. to say it was done one year, then brought back is a pretty false statement. URF died in his second year when WW skinned him. Resurrected with Corki and Fizz 2 more years. Then URF the game. then the URF the Nami-tee. This is the first year they've released nothing for URF. Just renaming opponents and some toy skins which were better suited to Halloween or Christmas releases.

They had it as a joke the original year it was released. Then the next year, it wasn't really a joke anymore as everyone knew it was coming and they didn't do very much. I know what happened in all the events. It was a joke that became less of a joke as the years went on. Wasn't really an effective joke for a long time after the first reveal.

Again, it's not a seasonal thing like Harrowing or Snowdown.

Its been a thing since Riot first created the champion and released it on APRIL 1st. Just because they were uncreative last year with Draven heads and even less creative this year with renaming players.

If its not URF day for april fools, why have they called it such since his release? With skins every year until this one? The history of URF is written. He is a mascot of April fools.

The character is a long running gag, but every april fools event has been different. It's not just urf mode every year, and inf act the original urf mode was retired for good because of how crappy it was and we now have an updated version as s rotating game mode, It happens on and off all year now, so why would it be at all special for it to also happen on april fools.
