Why can't Gangplank W out of a pull from Blitzcrank?

So, I play Gangplank pretty often, and it really doesn't seem right that his Remove Scurvy move (W) doesn't clear pulls.

The tooltip says it clears ANY cc, and for all other cc's, besides rocket grab pulls, this seems to be correct. If you're popped up, pressing W mid-air will bring you back to the ground faster. If it can halt a pop up and defy the laws of physics, it should be able to break the grip of a Blitzcrank . It breaks Thresh 's grip.

It's difficult to time but if you could end a pull movement halfway through the pull, that's death averted in a lot of situations.

Anyways, I don't want to argue that eating fruit should break a robot's grip or that it should bring a pirate back to the ground faster in a pop up because of physics... my argument is the inconsistency with the tooltip. It says it clears any cc. A pop-up is a cc, a pull is a cc. They should both get cleared, not just pop-ups. So, is this an oversight or what, Riot?

It shouldn't effect knock-ups.

Knock-ups in general are over pretty fast, but tenacity, cleanse, and quicksilver sash have no effect on them. You sure you're not fooling yourself with those? Nami's bubble is considered a stun for whatever reason so you can citrus your way out of that one, but that's pretty much it.

As for Gangplank cleansing all CC - Quicksilver Sash and Tenacity have no effect on flings, knockups, knockbacks, and pulls. It's not *just *pulls. Pretty much any type of CC that counts as "airborne" and Yasou can ult you off of, oranges can not make k.

Gangplank does get a one-up on summoner cleanse though, as he does get to remove suppression with oranges (cleanse can't, QSS can).

It would make my life a lot easier if I could do that...
