Fiddlesticks Ability Queue

I don't know exactly when this started, although I'm sure it's been at least half a year to a year, but I can no longer queue Fiddle's Q(terrify) after starting the channel for his ult. It used to be that it automatically feared the target as soon as I got in range after the channel and the blink completed. Is this supposed to happen?

Can confirm this no longer works. I really wish it hadn't been changed, this was a bigger nerf to Fiddle than Riot realizes.
