Riot can you please make Nautilus a solo laner instead of a support? Ideas

Nautilus as a support has too much cc in comparison to his competing picks. And that makes him too oppressive in lane with the way his hook and passive function. I believe those two abilities should be slightly reworked but keep their identity, as they make Nautilus the heavy cc tank he is.

Instead I think removing some power off of his Q and Passive would allow you to put more power into his W and E, and make him more of a fighter tank that can have an AP or Tanky build, which will make him more playable top and mid instead of support.

ALSO PLEASE MAKE HIS ULT A SKILL SHOT AND NOT JUST POINT AND CLICK. I'm pretty sure the amount of adc's or carries in general that get 100 to 0 because nautilus pressed R is ridiculous. This also makes it so that maybe it could get its base dmg back and require actual skill to use.

I main Nautilus in solo lanes and seeing him get nerfed is understandable obviously because of how insane he is botlane, but sucks due to him losing power in solo lanes.

No, to all of this. Nautilus is fine as a support, and you don't want to crank that much CC into a solo laner, because then it becomes a nightmare. Also, his ultimate IS PERFECT AS IT IS. It's timed, it can knock up more than one person if they get in the way, and it's not an instant death like you're making it out to be.

You dont quite seem to understand that any defensive tank makes for a viable support (rammus doesnt - hes an offensive tank). Nautilus also isnt balanced as a support, hes balanced as a laner. Hes also very susceptable to all-in comps and sustained burst champions like Vayne, Twitch, Draven, Xayah... Unless ahead, because hes not balanced as a support he actually has lane-capable base damage in his kit.

Also making his ult a skillshot is a terrible idea because the one counterplay to hyper mobility IS targeted hard CC. We need targeted abilities in league of legends, without them, champions like LB or zed have nothing to check them when they inevitably become roflstomp popular.
