Favorite & Least favorite support Champion?

Hello everyone.

Today i have a very simple question to ask, favorite & least favorite support champion?

To give a bit of backstory on this i have been playing support for almost a week and have already fallen in love with it, i love to have some importance as a role but not too much like ADC. I have been playing Morgana only but as i draw closer and closer to getting her to level 5 i realized that i haven't thought of who to pick next and i don't want to make another big mistake like buying Azir without learning he is the hardest mid lane champion to learn.

If you could take your answer one step further and provide or just list off your build for said champion that would be cool and i would appreciate that.

Most: Nami item 3092 item 2045 item 3117 item 3190 item 3110 item 3222

Least: Taric He's so non-interactive. You either go all in or do nothing it seems (to me) XD I prefer a very aggressive back line support, which is pretty much the opposite.

i think taric woul dbe peoples least fav simply do the fact he has high mana cost long cds penalties on all his moves except for e. he is slow . how ever i do liek to play as him simply once he has the 40% cd he can 1v1 a fed yi and trynd and easily kill them like nothing . he needs ice born, thronmail, frozen heart , are his core items also i usually build spirit visgae on account of his self healing on his q .

I just LOVE supports with a lot of utility like Janna Nami who can buff their allies and help in any situation (chase escape teamfight poke peel). They don't need a lot of AP to shine and their kits are amazing and fit their character

I don't really like mage supports, althought i play them when I want to carry the game, they don't bring utility and they are not fun to play against early on, but their lack of utility is felt later in teamfights or in objective control situations. They either carry on their own or become useless...

Bard is my favorite and least favorite support at the same time. He has a great kit and is fun to play. However, VERY few players seem to know how to play with him, so you can't be as effective as most other champions.

Janna is great with an adc that understands how to play, but if your adc doesn't know what they are doing (even though they claim they do) Janna is useless to that lane and is better off going to support another lane

I've had games were I single handedly poke down both the enemy adc and support to 20%, and my adc is just farming, remember I'm Janna, it took 3-4 min of well times AAs W E and Q for disengaging after my 2-3 second trade to get them that low, my adc lets them recall they come back with some items and kill him because

1 he was endlessly pushing 2 he ignored the fact my wards saw thier jungler coming 3 he ignored my pings 4 he finally gets aggressive and tries to tower dive them in a 2v3

And I'm the bad support for not saving him or following up (I ran because it was a bad fight to be in and wards have plenty of warning about it)

That is why I love and hate Janna

Favorite: Taric -Tough call to make. I've mained support for 4 years now. Nothing beats being truly, truly, outrageous.

Least Favorite: Janna

Just boring to me.
Will only use her if I am duo with a friend in call. She can take a lot of coordination. And just wiping adc's butts with her in solo queue doesn't always give wins.

I like to counter pick or build around my team as a support. Morgana is very useful. You might try a varied support kit to fit more team comps or counter, ie. a tank.

Nautilus, Blitz, Braum, Alistar, Leona are champs I'd look at if you want variation. They have a completely different play style though so you'll have to learn your engages and builds.

Morgana tends to be safer in Solo queue than some other all-in type supports like Leona. Some games you'll crush, but others your arc or teams won't back your plays and you can look pretty foolish if you play aggressive and your team is passive.

You could also try a kill lane support like Brand. Tahm Kench and Bard are pretty strong right now and offer a lot of team utility. Bard is particularly nasty when played well.

Favorite - I don't have one. Lately I enjoy playing Nautilus. Least Fav - Karma. I just dislike her kit design. It's hard to even know what she does as her kit isn't very visibly telling like other champs. I also think she is badly outclassed by other champs that have a similar model if you want to play that archetype. Brand has better AOE control with his pillar stuns. Lissandra has better utility due to her mobility skills as well as AOE output. Zyra moves similarly but has a damage output that can rival Brand's. Karma isn't useless but she is a gimped champ in my mind.

Taric at least provides reliability even if in a very narrow and limited way via his tanginess and stun on command.

Janna and Shen are two that I really enjoy. Another one is Bard but he's kinda tough even pick due to where I sit in mmr. No one likes him there ;-;

Anyways, Janna builds that I happen to favor have a lot of CDR so that you've almost always got your shield. So I normally end up having someting like this: item 3092 item 3504 item 2049 item 3117 or item 3009 the fith item could be anything from death cap to grail. I normally leave that to the situation. Also hail the queen of disengage! (In my brain really IDK if she still holds that title.)

Shen is more to be an aggressive tank. Sadly though he does have a more risky lane phase if you are up against a more poke/ranged lane. I don't have a good build on this guy at all. I just build him full tank and wing it most the time.
