What are the easiest AP mid champions to pentakill with?

akali does well from what ive seen. ive had 2 so far as mordekaiser. supposedly swain can do it if played right, but hes not really a mid laner anymore is he?

Kat is probably the easiest. I've gotten one with Karthus, and three (!) with Fiddlesticks. One with Yasuo, too, but I was AD that game.

Look for champions with resets. They tend to be able to multikill with the most efficiency.

Katarina and Akali for an example. Yi and Khazix...same general idea.

Also, champions with very high area of effect damage. Fiddlesticks, Karthas, and Ziggs. Swain and Kennen are also very capable.

Katarina and Teemo have my highest number of pentakills, even including AD champions. I think almost all of my Teemo pentakills are on-hit Hurricane builds.

Mind you I'm an ADC main, sooo... Shows how easy it is on those two champs.

Katarina and Diana come to mind, although Diana can take a bit more setup. She's actually the only pentakill I've ever gotten.

If you want just an AP champion who can penta easily, get good at playing Nunu and using his ult. It's a penta goldmine haha.

Outside of those two mentioned above, maybe... Brand? A superfed AP Ez popping his ult on a teamfight could result in a good penta, and Kayle has some solid lategame potential although I don't really foresee her getting more than maybe doubles or triples. Ahri probably won't get more than a triple either, her damage can be a bit too selective.

Oh, Annie. Super simple, but super effective. If you're good with her you can play a bit safely starting with a Majai's and get stacks until you can't be stopped. My ex was a crack shot with Annie, and that's what she'd always do. It was terrifying. Haven't really tried her myself since then though, for obvious reasons.

Karthus' ult has some penta potential, but it's pretty situational.

A late game Ryze going full blown Christmas ham can get pentas pretty easily, especially if you R into an enemy team who's fighting baron and just start pressing QWE in whatever order you deem fit at the highest speed you can. Vel'Koz might be a good option, his ult is absolutely devastating, but chances are that you're going to have to be pretty damn good with him and use his entire kit to earn that penta. Most I've gotten with him was a triple, rest of the enemies weren't in a position to where my ult could tag them as well. Still uber satisfying though.

Zigg is probably the last one I'd suggest who has penta potential. His AoE is absolutely crazy, even if you don't count his ult. Fire his ult into a teamfight of low health enemies and... well, the results speak for themselves.

• Katarina, resets OP, even Riot nerfed Yi for the reason of his resets being OP, but it's ok if Kat still gets them.... for some reason.....

• Akali, infinite dashes, stupidly high damage, and a ridiculous passive that gives her an insane amount of spell vamp, so you can heal back a ton of health when bursting someone 100-0, on top of an invisibility pool that you require a pink ward for at all times.

• Fizz, having a free "NOTHING CAN HIT ME AT ALL EVER" move that also works as a gap closer and an escape make moving around a team real easy, all on top of his stupidly high damage.

• Fiddlesticks, not gonna lie his laning isn't the easiest against most decent mid laners, but you can feed like 5 kills in 5 mins then ult into the entire enemy team during a team fight and kill everything if you do it right and your team helps hold people in place.

• Kassadin, harder now since his rework, but having THAT much mobility on top of still very strong burst damage allows you to clean EVERYONE up after a team fight, you just have to be more careful with your mana use now.

Katarina . She can do the fastest penta of all league without aiming and she is for this the first ban, pick, win rate in every new modality. Did you rimember 6v6 or Ascension???

Katarina and Akali

Katarina is the easiest, but if you get blown up early, say good bye to that Penta. Akali can easily kill 2-3 targets, not so sure about all 5. So far my only Penta has been with Trist, but not AP trist, just ADC.

Just a heads up, Akali and Katarina don't officially count as pentas. If you actually get one the announcer just says "Please stop ruining other peoples' games" and you're immediately disconnected so that your team loses the resulting 4v5.
