Blind Pick Lane Calling

So I was just playing with some friends and I spam called jg, or tried to at least. Though one of my friends told me in the call, "Lol, I heard you type a lot but I don't see anything in chat." And my other friend said, "He literally typed it like 10 times." So my friend told me he would send me a snip of his chat, and he really didn't see it. So I sent a screenshot of how my chat was there in between a certain time of the texts. Why does this happen? I have an idea of how this happens, but I want to know why. I've known this was an issue since season 3, I've played since late s2. Though I never actually got a picture of 2 different views of it until now.

Not everyone joins the lobby at the same exact time. so if you joined lobby first and typed 4 lines of text before anyone else joined, they wont see anything.

As already said, players join the lobby in a different order.

You most likely sent all of your chat before they even entered.

It sucks, but that is how it works.

Calling lane in blind is really more of an honor - system, and it really doesn't have any merit. MOST people will accept that you called a lane first so they won't fight you for it. Some won't see that you called it and think they called it first and they will fight you. Others will see that you called it, and they won't care.

You're 130th level. It's pretty unlikely that you don't have enough champions to play Normal matches. If you really care what lane you get, play Normals, otherwise, ... come to terms that it probably won't matter if you called a lane from time to time.

I still dont know why blind pick still doesn let you pick a lane. You rarely get your lane in blind pick and end up on the worst role you are.

They even have the tech - Nexus blitz was blind pick with lane assignment. There's no reason for blinds to have lane picks withing 2-3 patches other than Riot deciding that blind wont ever have lane picking.

Just accept whatever you get, that's the thing about blind pick. I've only been playing that for a few years without ever touching draft, and it's made me proficient in every role, although I still specialise in jungle and top.

Otherwise, feel free to "troll", people in blind pick are generally quite chill especially with the bot lane shake up. You don't get flamed as much for picking Yi ADC or Ashe support anymore. I had a mid Sona just last game and nobody really cared either.
