Ult ap scaling from 60% to 75% on pbe

Nnow, I don't think karthus is insanely strong but his ult is the last place that needs work. How about something better like: Every time Karthus hits q on a single target, not only does it double the damage but also gives him a burst of 10/15/20/25/30% movespeed for 2 seconds, decaying over the duration? or something cool like that. Or, Karthus gains 6/12/18/24/30 AP per champion in his wall while it's up? I just think his ultimate is more than fine where it is, considering it's a global pop which does a ton of damage as the game progresses. Its gated by a cooldown for a reason, no need to make it hit even harder. (not to mention aery or comet can fly to an enemy anywhere and do extra damage with it)

It's not just gated by cooldowns, it does pitiful damage early on (especially now since you have so little ap and your first item by time you get ult will either be catalyst for RoA or Tear) it's also gated by the fact EVERYONE now gets a free stopwatch for his ult, multiple champs (most of which are meta) have ways to completely avoid his ult with a basic ability.

There's just way too much countering to his ult

I think his unreliability and weakness to burst is a lot worse than his ult, but his ult still needs work.
