As a Zed main, I am very ashamed of the question that I'm about to ask. I've always been wondering about ways Zed's ult can be countered. (Other than Zhonya's, QSS and I think Cleanse.) So I'll just make this question quick and then just dash away back into the shadows.
Can you Block Zed's Ultimate with another Zed's ultimate? (I mean the damage portion of the ultimate.)
Not sure, but what i do know, is when i did play that match up from the days of teambuilder and blink pick and got that match up, the 1 who ulti'd 2nd always won the fight. xD
The detonation will still hit you even if you are mid ult. This is the same function as ignite ticking on you mid-ult, or death's dance DOT hitting you during ult.
What you CAN do is use your ult to dodge the enemies abilities to minimize damage taken before the mark pops.

In a sense, yeah.(not being damaged as much reduces pop damage iirc so being untargetable temporarily will increase survivability)
