I had my best match ever today.

Today, I visited The Rift once again, expecting to find my average game, which normally consists of people flaming, feeding and blaming everyone. However, this time, I entered my team, and was received by a bunch of people with positive attitudes. I felt pretty good, and soon after, we completed the team and started the game. (Yes, Team Builder.) When we started, I was going Shen top against a Riven. I knew things were gonna go bad after seeing her. I gave away first blood. Of course, it was expected as Riven is obviously a skill-based champion who is completely balanced and not broken whatsoever. I died once again 5 minutes later, but I noticed no one in my team started raging at me for feeding Riven. I felt like things would go better afterwards.

Later on that same game, our botton laners were in trouble, so I quickly TPed in, saving Ashe. I taunted the three enemies (TahmKench Lucian MasterYi , and that allowed us to take them all down. It was an amazing feeling. In just minutes, I started carrying my team, going 13/4/14 and allowing our ADC to get fed and wreck the enemy team. We won, my team cheered and told me that I was a good player, and told me that "Good job" that we all want to hear. I will never forget the words spoken by our ADC after I risked my life to save them, "He's a beast, and we call him Shen." It wasn't my best match because I made three pentakills and had 300 CS at 20 minutes. It was my best match because I helped my team, won the game, and my efforts were valued for the first time. There's still people out there who make League be the amazing game it is today.

I'd like to hear any stories that relate to mine :) Good luck in The Rift!

I've had one rank game and it was GLORIOUS. We were all losing lane badly and basically had a horrible time but no one flamed everyone instead just kept on going. Our amumu was lagging, our adc isn't fed, I lost mid, and then magic happened. We're still super positive and we did teamfights where things went insanely our way like this 4v2 engage Leona and I (Yasuo) engaged in did massive amounts of damage, lost and then jinx ults gets a triple. Slowly we positively pushed our way up and we eventually won the game from a open nexus for quite some time. (Took many close calls :P and our scores where 58 - 75 in the end)

How to get a game like this 75% of the time(not including ranked, people there are just bastards): Be upbeat, try to start fun conversations, congratulate people for everything they do good, make fun of things they do wrong(die in a fight, "close one!" "NUUU!!!" "/all BBY COME BACK"), and overall just suck dick like a pro.

Here's a doozy. I was playing support Taric at the beginning of the season. My ADC was Vayne and she was not doing so hot. 10 minutes in she is 1/3/0 and starts talking on how bad she is and how this game can't be won. So I go Oogway and give her a small moral boost. We go in for another engage in bot with our Jungler (Trundle) backing us up. I engage, stun, ult, heal, Shatter, Proc GA, and keep going, I die but my ADC got out alive with a triple after their Jungler came in and the Enemy commented "This Taric was Jesus" and my ADC went "Yes he is" We won

I had a game that was going pretty good. But everything changed when Skarner attacked

Well. It was my friend's first game as Thresh (he had just bought him) and decided, "I'll go support." My other friend was playing Twitch. Unfortunately, Thresh didn't load in right due to a terrible computer that really should be upgraded, and wasn't able to load in for the next 20 or so minutes. Twitch and the other lanes did surprisingly well, and we were actually starting to win the game. Thresh eventually managed to reconnect at around 25 minutes in, and had to go other lanes to farm a little. He was about 3 levels under the enemy team, and decided he would help in the team fight. He died. After his reconnect, he began to somewhat feed the enemy team, which started to set our team behind. One team fight later, Twitch got a pentakill and we pushed to their inhibitor at around 37 minutes, and the enemy team thought it was GG from there on. Well, because of Thresh, the enemy team got quite fed and pushed a couple towers.

We lost that game.

But still, it was a pretty great game considering that we managed to pull through the early half of the game and start to win, but I think the enemy team had way more late game champions than we did.

TL;DR My team won the early game despite a DC'd support, and the ADC got a pentakill but we lost anyways.

Hmm.. It wasn't exactly my favorite or best game ever, but it was memorable. Yes, I had played a ranked game as Xerath and got counterpicked by Zed mid on Red Side. Every other lane had pretty bad matchups although I don't remember them all too well. Anyways, top fed fb to a Riven and that snowballed, and bot lane was pretty much stale until around ten minutes, where the jungler who just got fed off the our jungler and top just went bot and then snowballed that lane. The only lane that was doing decent was mine, where that Zed and I traded 2-2 but he had up on CS due to so much global pressure.

All of a sudden, bot suddenly got their bot and their jungler low because they overextended, but were too afraid too chase. Then, I just ulted bot, got a double, and then got enough gold to get a Zhonya's. That detail might seem minuscule, but it lead up to what made the game so memorable.

3 of us were caught out at top, I was in the tri-bush near the jungle on the way from mid. All of them were low, and Riven used her ulti. They all just barely survived. Their jungler (who I believe was Spirit Guard Udyr) was gaining speed, Zed and their adc following closely behind. Suddenly, I flashed in, and used Zhonya's Hourglass.

In that short 2.5s time frame, I typed "remember me".

They did.

But first the enemy team beat me far beyond my husk could withstand, but I cared not. I knew my death was very imminent, so I just used my E to stun the ADC and spammed dance. My hand waved through the air, and no one was sure if it meant surrender or pride. But it waved there. The enemy killed me. Their Caitlyn didn't get the assist. What might have been seen from a blind, ignorant eye, was a scrub being dumb as bricks. But my enemies? They did not kill my friends (it was Solo Queue, but I consider them friends I never knew I had). They killed me.

And my friends fleed far beyond the enemies' grasp. My friends? Safe. The enemies? Chasing my friends was a fool's task. They retreated as well.

All that was left was my lachrymose eleemosynary bod.

Then what happened was amazing.

"LOL"'s started coming out and "OMG"'s too

The enemy team then said something along the lines of "lol xerath noob, flash down, ult down, we still get a kill"

Then our Corki stood up for me. "You don't understand. He sacrificed himself for us."

Then, "he's a hero", "we're alive only becuz of him", "the real MVP"

We lost that game. But after that we actually came back quite a bit. it was an overall more enjoyable game.

i uh, i had an afk ashe for most of my last game. nobody really flamed about it, which was nice for a change. we just kept playing, i demolished a garen top as pantheon, and got fed early game from a bot tele double. from there everyone kinda stayed out of my way, so i had to get kills from my teammates baiting them out, or ulting into a teamfight. i built AD since our ashe was gone, but we were still slowly losing. backed all the way up to our nexus (tryndamere is hell when you dont have map pressure) we managed to save it because luckily leblanc doesnt do enough damage to take it quick enough. we couldnt baron because we had no map pressure, and they didnt baron for unknown reasons. so the game pretty much went with us playing off their mistakes, until ashe came back. and then we lost a bad teamfight and thought we were done for sure. after more miracle plays from my team (bless their persistent souls), our winions had knocked down both nexus turrets. i watched as jinx and leblanc cleared all our winions out, but ulted in...and thats when jinx lost the game by walking right in the middle of my ult. 0-100 real quick. leblanc had walked off (to maybe check out baron finally?) and i started knocking away at their turret. tryndamere spawned and starting attacking me, but i just got my stun off and went back to happily hacking away at their base as my team said their gg's. final score: 31/10/5. needless to say, i was quite happy
