@riot a possible change to relic shield for ranged melee supports

If someone fromantic riot could comment on this so I know it has been seen. I'm suggesting adding a tool tip to relic shield for ranged melee supports specially talking about thresh. Since the item is made for strictly melee supports when it is taken on thresh it feels extremely awkward using. So how about adding a tool tip that execute minions for ranged melee supports that is slightly lower than strictly melee. It would make the item feel alot better on him. Hope someone notices this and replys.

Thresh's E has a passive which provides bonus on-hit damage; use that to last-hit the minion.

When it provided an execute for melee and ranged champions, it was run in both bottom lane (with every ADC and support buying it) and top lane (since jungle ceased to existed).

"Ranged melee" champions do not exist.

A champion is either melee or ranged , though they may occasionally have an ability that lets them switch between the two forms (i.e. Kayle, Jayce, Gnar, Nidalee, Elise).

Thresh's autoattack animation changes when he's within melee-range of a target (since it would look a little weird for him to do a full swing when they are that close aesthetically), but it is always a ranged autoattack.

There is no such thing as a "Ranged Melee" champion. A champion is either Ranged or Melee that is it. Though some champions can change between the two under certain circumstances.

Before you ask anything about his animation, Vel'Koz is actually in the same boat as Thresh. They're both ranged, non projectile auto attackers. From a mechanical standpoint, Thresh's (AA) hook and Vel'Koz's (AA) laser are the exact same thing.

that's actually how one of the rioters on the riot games support page classified him as+
