Riot's design philosophy is "if it it's fun make it unfun"
So from what I understand... (champions like yi and yasuo) rework them and make them less strong because they are unfun to play against so take away the core reasons why they are fun? Does that make any sense?
There is a LOT of unfun champions to play against. Syndra is one of them for me, or a teemo, or a riven, or a caitlyn, or an Annie... there is a lot of unfun things to go against so the design philosophy is to rework them for no reason but that?
Let's be fair. And i can say this with one hundred percent confidence. I suck man... like bad... like really bad but I don't think yasuo is inherently broken or any of the other champions I mentioned. I think that a player does bad and feeds and feeds (like how i do) and make those champions really unfun to play against. Face it riot if you feed in this game there is almost no chance of recovering from that and to devalue a champions core design philosophy will only lead to an unfun champion to play.
That's my logic anyway. You did reworks for Katarina but that didn't prevent her from stop being able to snowball really hard... so I really don't understand what's going on and from what I seen you wanted to rework Kalista? Kalista is a garbage adc right now because you guys nerfed her so badly no one wants to play her anymore and when someone does try to main her their elo plummets. And they are forever stuck in d5.
Just be upfront though. The main reasons for any change is to redefine the landscape of league and have different champions stronger thus changing the meta. No one will want to play certain champions if they are "reworked" (aka nerfed through a different means other than stat nerfs or ability nerfs).
The issues aren't so much what that champion can do if it's ahead but the problem resides in the player and his skill level. Example I suck and feed teemo every time because i don't know how to play against that champion so I just naturally detest the rat. Obviously people who get consistently smashed by rivens or yis or yasuos will hate them and complain.
I don't have issues with Leblanc but I know others who completely feed their arses against them. I'm not intelligent like ghostcrawler but from my logic I can't fathom those kinds of problems because realistically every champion can be strong if they go 5 kills deep in 4 mins off the minions spawn. and cause huge problems...
If you want the game to be fair no matter what point of the game you reach wouldn't it be easier to have zero items in the game,remove gold, remove levels and just make it skill oriented instead of having resources in the game?
