Can we have this be a thing? The chests are limited to begin with and if i happen to get 4 skin shards in a month, thats a month of not getting blue essence for a champion mastery lv6 or 7. I don't want to feel like i have to spend money to get the progression to a higher mastery level.
I just posted about the exact same issue. And your solution would definitely be a step in the right direction. I was just about to buy some MORE riot points and said to myself "What? Screw that, I'm not gonna pay more money just for another little blue ribbon".

Hey, somebody just posted on my comment and they say you can use IP to buy Mystery shards to get the blue essence.
