Ekko Ult Nerf

I understand quite a few people are asking for a simple mana cost on it. While I have never played Ekko, I've watched my friend play a couple games as mid lane Ekko up against another Ekko and I feel like the worst part about his ult is that it does great damage and heals Ekko even if he's fighting in one spot for a while. I know Riot designed this ult with escapes and turnarounds in mind, but is there anything "fair" about (not even the damage) such a large heal when Ekko literally ults on top of his original location? I think it would thematically make more sense to have a scaling heal depending on the displacement of Ekko when he ults. The damage is debatable, they can scale that if they'd like too but I'm mostly concerned with the heal. I get that he's "going back in time" but in the game he's not turning back everybody else.

TL;DR... Ekko's ult should heal less when he ults on top of his original location.
