I remember that we could watch ranked games a long time ago

How come?? I think nobody ever got a notice that they were taking it away right after season 6 started

We can spectate high rank games in the client but we have to go to the Leagues tab of our profile and view the top ranked players or teams. If a name in the list has an eye next to it then it can be spectated.

I loved it too. Been watching the tracking the pros Twitch stream. It's the next best thing.

I liked having it on my client so I could quick check builds and spell level ups and whatnot. Suppose I'm supporting streamers more nowadays.

I don't think he's in touch with that team, but we'll see when preseason hits.

I really miss it, since I loved spending time watching people play the champions I love. I know there're streamers and such, but sometimes I just want to watch a high-level game without running commentary, and figuring out all the streamers and which clique is which and what drama goes where is, well, rough. At least with the in-client card we could see at a glance what champions were in the game, and follow that particular champion if we wanted to learn more about 'em.

Was definitely my favourite learnaboutchamps tool, hope Riot'll bring it back.

Because apparently a majority of the RP-buying playerbase are tweenage girls who want to giggle at the fruitAZNs in /ALLCHAT, so we can't have featured games taking up valuable real estate in the AdobeAir client.

You can find pro-players playing be able to spectate them at you can change as well the regions to spectate any player from any region. The site as well features a record button where it would save the match and you can be able to watch it late on.

It actually devalues their twitch streams.

If people watch from their clients, they wont watch through the guy's twitch or whatever.

So I think its fair and respectful that they removed this feature. You can still watch the gamer, just go to their twitch stream.

Overall I think its a good change as it doesnt devalue the player's twitch stream.

I wasn't talking about popular streamers, I was talking about just any random ranked game that we can see on our client. I really miss that.
