Maokai Buff

Maokai needs a buff so bad it hurts. When I first started playing LoL Maokai was used excessively and even made many appearances in competitive play, but now Maokai is a useless ball of nothing. Saplings barely harass, he's not much of a tank, he takes AP like crazy, and deals absolutely no damage. Like for real give this guy a stun or something so it least he can support properly. I just want to play Maokai again and I feel like a buff or some kind of rework would be great right now as tanks are OP right now and having an AP tank on your team can really help team compositions.

All they need to do is revert the last 2 nerfs they gave him, reducing his passive heal and increasing the cool down on his ult. He was balanced and fair before theses changes and i have no idea why they did this any way.

I think they targeted his Ult CD because of how often it was used to wave clear. (Whether that was a problem or not, I don't know.)

But both nerfs happened before the Juggernaut update, which do arguably but him behind the powercurve. Though it might also be worth looking at what was one of his core items. Righteous Glory. Which got the Valor passive removed so that it wouldn't be a rush item. (Though he's still fairly reliant on Catalyst.) But now Righteous Glory has a new competitor. Deadmans Plate.
