Okay so today May 27th i played a "wonderful" ranked game. My team had 2 afk people and 3 people who fed(only one of the feeders went afk) and somehow I still had to lose LP for a 3v5 ranked game which simply is not fair. Is there any chance i may get LP back because, and i speak for a lot of people it is not fair to lose LP when your team has an afk. And it happens like every 3 or 4 ranked games especially in the lower elos. So please consider this and even if u cant give LP back at least as a future update make it so that if your ranked team has a afk for lets say 15 minutes the game is a loss prevented.

To make sure the system does not get abused the person who went afk still loses LP. Final Edit: if that system is impossible, how about a loss of only 5LP for losing a 4v5 or 3v5 insead of losing like 20LP which occasionally could take 2 games to get back.

The mercy system takes this all into account. If a vote would become an option to the enemy team to not win as much lp so that four enemies arent punished due to an afk troll. While it won't often work, it couldn't hurt and would balance out lp win/loss.

I feel u man... hate afks on my team too. looks like im not the only one experiencing afk situations

Yea i feel like riot should start putting in a safe to leave system like in dota because honestly allot of people could be saved some lp with that system :/

Welp now people will reconnect after 5 minutes and disconnect again. Or even walk around the fountain watching the game :/

But trolls and afks are very healthy to the game! Or at least they are supposedly as I get downvoted for speaking out against them. GG best community EUSW.

I know that feel and it sucks, especially if you're in promos or close to getting there. I would posit that Riot would like to prevent innocent players from losing lp to afks, but is still formulating a way to do this in a reliable, non-abusable fashion (like duo queues with one being a smurf quitting to save their partner's lp).

In the mean time, while it sucks (and it does suuuuck), for the moment on a long term scale it should balance out, as the odds of these players being on your team are just as high as them being on the enemy team, so you'll take some BS losses, but you'll also get some unearned victories to compensate.

I don't condone afk-ing, but it;s such a common problem that I refuse to believe Riot wouldn't address it if they could/haven't been testing/brainstorming ways to solve the problem effectively and fairly.
