My team just won a game 59 to 44
I was support Bard w/ 3/8/32 other supp was Naut at 9/13/19
and we both got an A.
our Yi went 22/10/9 and got an S.
how does a support get a freaking S around here?
I dish up kills to my team and get a pat on the head. I want some more love! =P
You get an S by being bitched at by your ADC and putting up with it.
Having 4 or less deaths is the only way I can get an S on supports.
i think the system go based on the champion rather than how you play that champion. For example, the system probably thought you were a mid Brand and therefore require you to get more kills. I dont really know myself. I've been trying to figure it out
The system compares your accuracy versus other people with that champ of the same role.
Lulu is my main who I have played in different roles since release (even rank 5 atm with her) got multiple S and S+ rankings. It's possible.
Wait, you guys had two supports? ... IMO A is already really good. if you want to improve it, I'm pretty sure the system accounts for wards placed, damage done, healing done... in other words, everything you would see on the charts at end game. It's definitely not just CS and Kills.
Who cares.
Seriously. Unless there's a statistic somewhere listing how many times you got an A score like they do for your KDA, I don't see why it matters.
When I realized having a higher grade only meant I got maybe 100 more mastery points (compared to the 1k you get for simply winning, no matter how well you did) I stopped caring.
Supports get hosed compared to roles that get kills.
As already pointed out.. the score doesn't really matter.

you know the system is weird when i go support caitlyn and go 3/1/18 lose and get an s grade
but the enemy bard goes 4/6/16 wins and only gets an A grade
maybe the mastery system just hates bard.
