Post Game Lobby: Why are the team names color coded?

There is no reason for them to be. It doesn't improve clarity, and all it does is cause confusion for players.

For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, in the post-game lobby, your own teams names are now blue, and the enemy team's names are all red. I thought for a second that the game thought my entire enemy team went afk.

The worst part is that it's not consistent.

First, red was already used for disconnects. Reusing it for something else is confusing.

Second, some of the names are grey. At first I thought this was people who'd left the lobby, but I keep seeing people leave the lobby (the yellow "left the room" text appears), yet they remain red or blue.

Aside from being buggy, the red part was poorly thought through.

More importantly, I always read the patch notes, and I didn't notice any explanation. I assume it was there, but I missed it among everything else...but something like this deserved to be given special attention, maybe its own article in main client area and patch screen.

But Riot has a long history of failing to understand just how important the client interface is. There are still absurd bugs I've been waiting to see fixed since the 2nd season, like how you can't shop for runes, switch to your rune pages to see what else you need, and then go back to the same place in the shop. It STARTS at the same place, but then resets. Just removing the reset would take seconds (I'm a programmer), yet it's four seasons later and they haven't addressed that.

Yeah allies names are blue and enemies are red, except sometimes they are just grey for no reason.

Honestly it's the ugliest thing now. I can't tell who on the enemy team has left and have to manually check so I won't be able to just see who's still here If I want to talk. It was an unnecessary change that makes it look ugly. If it is just for All-Stars then I hope they at least tweak it so we can tell who's left and who's still in the lobby. That would make it fine in my opinion.

When I first saw it there was a DC on my team and the color for the enemy team was not even like one pixel shade lighter then the DC and I was SOOO confused.

I came here searching for an answer to this as well. My guess is this is a temporary thing for AllStars.

Oh, is that what that was? I thought the AFK thing had a major glitch lol.
