I have seen 2 riot employees my whole career of playing league. 5 years roughly. But now I don't even hear of anyone having them in their games. Wish I could find them.

ModWulf Helhammer1 votesThe quote was referring to the fact that good designers don't have to be good players, and that good players don't always know how to design a game well. People on the gameplay boards take it to mean that the design team is somehow completely ignorant of how the game works.
As for not seeing many Rioters: keep in mind that they all likely have their own accounts, and may not have the "Riot" tag attached to it. Also, the sheer size of the player base means that the odds of running into a Rioter is veeery low, especially taking MMR into account.
Kulle Aid1 votesI can see how people take it out of context really. Riot has access to all the stats to base what they do each patch. they can see who's op and why they are. Also how each patch effect each elo. Some players don't realize whats op in low elo isn't great in high elo because of skill differences and styles. they will complain about nerfs and buff though. All rioters that I have seen, well the two, and the ones I see on the boards are usually between gold and plat. And are usually fun to play with.
I just wanna see more so I can get the fist bump ward. says u can only get it by playing with them and them giving the player the code for it lol.
kinda wish it was easier to tell tho when they are employees. cause they don't have the Riot in their name all the time
