Talisman steals Spelltheif's thunder: Should have the new Forbidden Idol passive instead.
With the new talisman changes Spelltheif's identity is less well defined and Talisman overlaps more now than before. It should have the PBE passive on Forbidden Idol. Here are the changes
> Ancient Coin > >Cooldown Reduction: 0% --> 5% >Other stats unchanged > >Nomad's Medallion > >Cooldown Reduction: 0% --> 10% >HP Regen : 50% --> 25% >MP Regen : 25% --> 75% >Other stats unchanged >Context: These two changes are intended to push Coin into a heavy spell-based pattern - in contrast to Targon's last hitting or >Spellthief's aggressive attack / spell harass combos. I disagree with these changes. By increasing the mana regen this much it overlaps with the spell casting pattern of Spelltheif's too much. Just as Spelltheifs artificially increases the value of aggressive plays (extra damage) talisman ought to artificially increase the value of the play pattern it is targeted at. So exactly who or what is talisman aimed at? Passive supports and losing lane. What do passive supports have in common. Healing and shields. They ought in increase the value of shields and healing instead. Instead they should have 'Gains another passive: +10% Heal and Shield Power' which has been put on Idol.
