Someone tell me the counterplay to Rengar killing you in .2 seconds.

Can someone tell me how to counter the fact that Rengar jumps on me from out of my range and kills me in .2 seconds? I don't think anyone has the reaction time to press the Zhonya's key in that amount of time. He uses all of his abilities before he even touches you.

"Build tank!"

Yeah, I'm not going to build tank items on a mage or ad carry.

"Stand in a group!"

In this particular scenario I was standing on 3 of my allies and still died in that time.

Can you share a screen cap with items and minimap please?

Edit. At the moment my advice is stay away from unwarded bushes as a glass cannon. Like the one pictured.

rengar ended the game 3 levels ahead of your highest level player with 8 cs per minute

you didn't build any armor or hp until a single cloth armor at the very end

you never used your stopwatch

it looked like he was smurfing that game, but it was just a lucky game---unlucky for you, i guess. the dude has a 34% winrate (46% on rengar) and averages 5.5 cs per minute

He had 8 kills and you had 0 armor.

But to answer your question, building Tabi instead of Sorceror would have been a good start. You also could have built Hourglass instead of Echo.

Play someone with CC.

For example, if you are going support, play Thresh. When Rengar jumps on you, press E and his Ult or whatever is wasted. He still isn't on you and you took no damage.

Judging by the Level of their Support and you were ADC, he is probably about 4 levels higher than you, which would definitely help him kill you quick.

Because the game keeps adding ways to frontload damage onto a single strike. So champs that already have frontloaded damage can do shit like this.

The screenshot doesn't show any information, for all we know he was 30/0, level 13 and you were 0/5 and lvl 6
