I don't get the purpose of this Morg buff

So you're giving her a passive she already gets from ?

This wouldn't benefit mid morg as much as it would benefit support morg. If you want to buff morg's support qualities buff her shield.. not give her something that when mid lane she gets anyway... support morg doesn't even struggle, mid morg does but it got a buff that means nothing by 8-10 minutes.

The only thing this change will do is make support morg stronger, and give mid morg a better reason to build and lose out on CDR.

I play Morgana a lot in both mid and supp and i usually start morello (in mid) unless i have something bursty to face, when i go RoA. And yes, it's pretty pointless. So they will probably add it and nerf Morgana in every other aspect to compensate.

It's going to be really annoying if a Morg tags me with W as Voli or Mundo and I just don't get to heal

Based on op.gg and champion.gg, Support Morgana apparently doesn't build Morellonomicon all that much. I guess that means it benefits Support Morgana a lot and Mid Morgana less, which might be the intention. Also, Morellonomicon applies Grievous Wounds on her other abilities and for a longer time, so buying it isn't any less effective on Mid Morgana.
