gives armor and MR, plus it's really strong right now, I guess some solo laners have been rushing the item, putting it behind the turret and then roaming since it's pretty difficult to push against it early, keeps your tower safe while you roam and you get the gold from minions it kills while not even in lane, might be worth looking at vs mid Corki.
Only Bot BTW1 votestanks rush that item.others dont.
Vesarixx1 votesYou don't strictly need to rush the item but if you're trying to itemize defensively vs mixed damage then it's an item you could consider, combine it with a mid tier health item like a giants belt or ruby crystal and you get a decent amount of effective health vs hybrids.
Pika3101 votesCorki's damage is 90% magic. Even his basic attacks get converted to magic. Not difficult to understand you don't need much more than MR against him. If you really wanted, Ninja Tabi are more than enough for that measly 10% physical he does and the passive will block a lot of the AA damage too.
It's far harder to build against Vayne, Jax or Yi who actually do large amounts of 2 or even all 3 types of damage.
