WE NEED more CUSTOM MATCH OPTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!

To be honest, I am severly dissapointed with Riot. For the past four Years I have been playing league (Since Season 2) there has only been one **SINGLE ** update to the Custom Match making, and that removed the IP gain from playing 1v1s and 2v2s with friends.

This has been requested many times, and I would like to bring up the issue once more, GIVE US MORE OPTIONS PLEASE. Let us have the ability, to change the custom matches to have a more unique and genuinely fun experience in league of legends.

What I am proposing:

  • Variable Death Timers [Let us change the base / scaling death timers] Karthus <--- I will never truly die
  • Variable Kill Bounties [So atleast when this Bard hosts his buffet it wont put us too far behind.]
  • Minion Gold Income [Let us make cannon minions be worth 3800 gold item 3031 ]
  • Base Spawn Gold [Imagine spawning with item 3078 item 3124 Irelia ]
  • Gold Generation [If we wanted to, let us change the gold per second item 3096 item 3096 ]
  • Base Spawn Level [How about spawning as a level 18 Vayne ? ]
  • Who says we need minions? Why not let us disable them! Veigar <--- He used to be a purple caster minion
  • Give us the option to Enable / Disable the spawn fountain [Let us finally go summoner 12 back to base on ARAM and summoner 7 up.]

Edit: Thanks everyone for your wonderful support! Maybe we can manage to grasp the attention of some riot developers and make a change for the betterment of the game!

yes plz. i'd also want to make it so that you could change a champion's base stats but that probably won't happen, i'd be satisfied with something like what you said.

I honestly don't understand why Riot wouldn't jump on this.

Want to make more money? Bring in more players to the game.

How do you bring in more players? Have already existing players bring in their friends.

How do you get players to do that? Take the Halo approach and let players make cool game modes to play with their friends (can't play them without people = needs to bring in friends).

Wouldn't even be that hard, just let people change basic parameters like income, cooldowns, spawn times, spawn locations, base stats, item stats, tower stats, minion waves, ect.

You're asking for a sandbox mode. Riot is aware that the community really wants it. Last time they publicly said they didn't want to make one, the backlash was so strong they spent 2 days making damage control. So maybe we'll get one in, like, 3 or 4 years?

And cooldown reduction, so we can recreate N/URF mode (between -80% to +200%)

How about opening the champ pool to all champs. How about allowing the bots to be able to jungle.

I think custom lobbies have problems in and of themselves. Besides allowing people to adjust game parameters (which would be cool) there are some other changes that I would like to see.

I don't mean to try and piggy back the thread or anything but over a year ago now I made a thread on the old forums addressing some of the rather simple problems of custom lobbies that I was experiencing on an almost daily basis because of what I was doing then: http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=4774392

If i could edit the post today I would probably change #5 because while yes extending the timeout timer on the lobbies would be nice it is necessary to keep custom lobbies from existing forever on the server and 1 hour is quite a while. One note on it though, I recently experienced that the timer is different for everyone in the room. Not sure why it is desynced like that but it makes it impossible to know exactly when the room will time out.

That's actually not true that the only thing they updated was the IP gain. They also allowed you to use intermediate bots, a year ago or so you could only use beginner bots in custom games.

I'd love to see the changes you are suggesting, but they amount to a mini sandbox mode, and Riot has thus far been against sandbox mode despite the requests by players like us.

I really like this idea. It'd make it a lot easier to test out different builds, combos, items, etc. without having to farm the whole time

Who wouldn't want to set up an URF match with 1-9 of your friends? Or one for all mode, you and your friends could come up with some crazy way to decide the one person who picks the champs?
