Dual ADC Team Compositions?

I recently started playing top lane, mid-gold to low-plat, and noticed that whenever I lose it's often to dual ADC team comps. ADC's are versatile enough to fit into just about any lane: jungle; graves, twitch, mid; ezreal, corki, top; quinn, etc. and scale well into mid and late game if they're not ahead already. Moreover, if one ADC is not doing well then they have another ADC to fall back on. Worst case scenario both ADC's out perform your own and your looking at a very rough game. It's difficult to shutdown two ADC's, and even if you manage to, they can pull forward as the game progresses unless your ADC has a huge gold advantage. Anyone have any success or encounter the same issue against these team comps? Top lane seems like a giant waste of time.
