Please for the love of god just make it a Bo3 just like every other tier you climb.
You are not longer safe from dropping a division anymore so whats the difference, why make it Bo5?

You get more grace losses after climbing a full division. You can lose 10+ games before you get drop back down, where as you have a grace losses of 1 from tiers.
I had to play around 50 games to go from Silver I to Gold 5... Usually losing the 5th promo, then playing 1 game from 90 LP to 100, then repeat after losing the series. They could remove the divisions and just show your MMR... So much waisted time (now I'm Gold 2 - I was Gold 5 around 10 April); going from Gold to Platinum will be probably the same waste of time, when the system just could place you where you belong according to your Elo/MMR, without playing any promos.
Being Gold, Platinum,Diamond probably is "cooler" than having 2k + MMR. Many people would stop playing ranked, if it was just numbers. Going into higher divisions is a psychological trick and they have to make it hard for the players to have a reason to "climb" .
