ADC mid-late game?

I know everyone says that after you win lane you should get bot turret and dragon then rotate mid-top but what if your mid-top stays cuz low elo and u have to share farm? Also what if u lose lane people say farm but how do you farm if they can just dive u or something? Thanks!
