What is this Master Yi nerf? Yi does not have an ultra strong early game!!

but you hit exactly at his early game damage cause Yi's first item is devourer and no AD at all!!

I dont get this....at level 18, his build wont be changing much, and that true damage is almost the same, what is this nerf/change supposed to accomplish?

Gut Yi's already weak early game so he wont be able to reach his late game at all?

If tank Yi is such a problem, you should be looking at why an assassin champion is building tank to be semi successful in the first place. Full AD/Crit Yi is nothing more than a clean up assassin and is close to trash tier with all the heavy cc and tanks with damage that we have. :|

These are the changes if anyone is wondering:

Active's Flat damage increased to 12/19/26/33/40 from 10/15/20/25/30. Active's AD ratio changed to 25% bonus AD from 10/12.5/15/17.5/20% total AD.

ps titanic hydra damage is also nerfed. -15

Our intent with changes to Yi is to nerf tank+on hit builds and leave AD builds at their current level of power. Tank+on hit builds are currently negating one of Yi's main intended weakness (squishiness) without costing him enough damage in exchange.

Heh. This really wont change anything. Yi is going to keep his head down and keep farming. He is going to go on hit tank and defeat anyone in his way. They can make champions have unique reloading mechanics, champs that crit every auto, champs that have the same ASpeed no matter what, champs that get carried by birds, but balancing a skinny dude with a sword is too difficult.

fwiw, i have been playing tank yi for quite awhile and even with the titanic hydra nerf you are still going to be a force. You don't even have to build it. Prior to some item additions you could go MasterYi item 3111 item 3931 item 3153 item 3071 item 3742 item 3102 and be just as much of a monster

seriously if they nerf him i will just quit this game! it's not fair he's my main and with that tanky build he surivie in teamfight longer by 3 secs more....and that critical build sucks really sucks he die in secs if he's CCed his Q made to dodge enemy abilities and CC but u can't dodge 5 abilities at once even with ur team mates u will get focused even with qss, stilll doesn't change a thing if there's enemy rammus or jax....who couter yi so hard, tanky build help him to carry and be useful in this game u are making this champion so rabbish, he got 0 CC and his farm after the nerf will suffer alot meaning he need to focus more on farm than just ganking which will make the game 4vs5 just keep the champion as he is just stop it he didn't take any changes since 2013 just leave the champion alone he's balanced if people are asking for nerf cos they can't deal with tanky yi it's their problem not yi! he's not even picked in high elo
