I was going to learn Akali 
, but on all these sights (op.gg, champion.gg) her win rate is disgustingly low. Is it because people havent mastered her and they are losing a lot or was she nerfed? Any akali mains or anyone with more knowledge about her win rate?

NEVER go by global winrate. Look at winrate with a higher amount of games played. She is well above 50% for people who spent time learning and playing her.

My point is that you saying not to go by global win rate is ridiculous because ALL champions have a higher win rate when you are better at them.
Her win rate in all games is lowest in the game, she's not broken, people are just bitches
Dope Solo1 votesIn the right hands she's exceptional. Expect to need about 500k mastery before you get there though, her kit just has more potential than most other champions do.

People are hearing how absurdly OP she is, getting into a game and finding out that's not the case, then go on a one-way trip to feed city for the next ~20 minutes. The other side is that she has gotten nothing but nerfs since the rework (especially her W in 8.24b), and seeing as she's very much a feast or famine champ, unless you're ahead you're behind.

All the good players are kept from playing her while all the bad players get 1 or 2 games where they feed their ass off because they haven't learned her enough.
Not to mention Riot keeps nerfing everything about her (because they want to lower her banrate) EXCEPT for the reason that makes her so strong. I think it's because they're too prideful to remove the part of her kit that makes her broken. Her shroud.
They want SO BADLY for it to be the core of her kit but thus far it's proven awful. My guess is that they end up allowing turrets to target her and make the shroud thinner.

imo her winrate is low because she isn't op and oppressive as people says, especially compared to other assassins she is just unfun to play against because of her true stealth under turret and her shroud
in addition, she has been released for a while, so it's not a matter of "people have yet to master her", she is just a difficult champ

sure, why not.. but don't expect to do good with her initially
